Associate Professor Chikako Mori Wins the 2016 Osaragi Jirō Rondan Prize

In December 2016, Associate Professor Chikako Mori of the Graduate School of Law was awarded the Sixteenth Osaragi Jirō Rondan Prize. The Prize is awarded under the auspices of the Asahi Shimbun for outstanding works relating to Japanese politics, economics, society, culture, international relations, and such.

 

Associate Professor Mori was awarded the Prize for her book, Haijo to teikō no kōgai: Furansu “imin” shūjū chiiki no keisei to henyō (The Banished Suburb), published by the University of Tōkyō Press in 2016 as a Select Work of the Hitotsubashi University Graduate School of Law. She also won the Thirty-third Shibusawa-Claudel Prize in 2016 for the same work.
