Official Certificates
Eligibility
Former students who studied at the following departments may apply for a certificate:

the Department of Business Law, Graduate School of Law; and
-
the Department of Inhouse Legal Practice, Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy.

In-Person Applications
To apply in person, please bring proof of identification (such as a driver’s license, health insurance certificate, passport or foreign resident’s card) to the Chiyoda Campus Administration Office (Level 5).
If someone will come on your behalf, make sure this person brings a signed authorization by the applicant (any format will do) and proof of identification of the agent.
It may not be possible to issue the certificate on the spot. You may wish to bring a stamped, self-addressed envelope just in case.
Office hours are 10:00-18:30 week days (except during end-of-year and mid-summer holidays).
Postal Applications
To apply via post, please include the following three items. The Administration Office will issue your certificate within three days of receipt of your postal application, although special or older certificates may take longer so please apply well in advance.

Application form

Copy of proof of identity (such as a driver’s license, health insurance certificate, passport or foreign resident’s card) or, if someone else is applying on your behalf, a signed authorization and a copy of the representative’s proof of identity.

A stamped-self-addressed envelope.
