Education

GLI Seminars and Workshops

The Center organizes GLI seminars and workshops that cover subjects related to global legal innovation and transferable skill development. At the same time, internship programs with private companies and international organizations are offered to ensure strong connections between education and practice. Furthermore, in cooperation with overseas universities, we implement double-degree programs to provide international joint education opportunities for master’s and doctoral students.

Corporate Legal Internship Program

The Corporate Legal Internship course provides students with hands-on experience in corporate legal departments, aiming to deepen their understanding of the roles and processes of corporate legal practice.

The program is conducted with the cooperation of the International Corporate Counsels Association (INCA).

It consists of three parts. First, students participate in a pre-internship event to learn about the functions and responsibilities of corporate legal departments. Second, they spend one week during the summer working as interns in corporate legal divisions, gaining practical exposure. Finally, students engage in reflective sessions after their placements, including one-on-one advising with experts commissioned by the Center, to explore insights for their future careers.

Here are our track records.

Corporate Legal Professionals Networking Event

This networking event, organized with the support of INCA, provides law and graduate students with opportunities to learn directly from practitioners about the roles and responsibilities of corporate legal departments.

Corporate legal professionals share real-world experiences, addressing questions about the role of in-house counsel in business, the qualities required for success, and career development. This event also serves as the introductory phase of the Corporate Legal Internship Program.
