Professor Takeshita of Graduate School of Law attended the 9th Working Group on Jurisdiction at HCCH in Hague as a member of Japanese delegation.
From October 20th to 24th, 2025, Professor Takeshita, Dean of the Graduate School of Law at Hitotsubashi University, attended the 9th meeting of the Working Group on Jurisdiction of the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH) as a member of Japanese delegation. HCCH is an international organization established to promote the progressive unification of private international law. Following previous meetings of the Working Group, he also chaired this meeting as well, making significant contributions to the discussions on developing the draft convention concerning parallel proceedings and related actions in international civil or commercial matters.
